High quality mixed color HDPE High Density Polyethylene Repro Pellets
Cedar Poly, LLC purchases hundreds of thousands of pounds of post consumer bottle bales and post industrial film scrap per month, of which all HDPE material is pulled from. All sorting, grinding, washing, densification and extrusion is done in house, allowing a lower cost to be passed on to our repro customers. Take a look at our process below.

Process for Bottle grade materials.
Classification ——————->
Post consumer bottle bales are sent through a sort line where a skilling team separates undesireable material from the stream. Separated post consumer material and post industrial purges and scrap are then sent to be toll processed.
Toll Processing ——————->
Post consumer materials are grinded and washed at our facility removing contaminants; leaving less than 5% non-HDPE material (like PP). Post industrial purges and larger materials are chopped and shredded.
Extrusion
The final step, all HDPE regrind is pelletized through an 80 mesh extrusion process creating a clean repro pellet. Higher and lower melt materials can be blended into this process to create custom materials for many applications.
Process for Film and Bag scrap.
Classification ——————->
Material consisting of post industrial films and bags are sorted by grade. Undesirable materials containing slip agents and vinyl acetate are removed before processing.
Densification ——————->
Baled scrap and roll stock is shredded and sent through a densifier to allow for reprocessing. This densified material is typically blended with bottle grade HDPE regrinds during the extrusion process.
Extrusion
